After a wit executes a subpanel chip that goes to an empty panel the program stops as expected. But hit the Code button and double click any chip and the chip will be deleted and ChipWits acts like you just hit the Replay button - the room will reset and the Main panel displays.

Here's how to duplicate this: Open a new wit. In the main panel first socket create a subpanel chip that goes to panel a. In subpanel a create the following two chips: a call to subpanel b and a boomerang. Now start the program. It will stop at the empty subpanel b. Hit the code button. Select panel b. Double-click the boomerang chip. Notice the main panel is now shown. Go back to panel b and you will see the boomerang chip has been deleted.
