I am unsure if this is an enhancement request or a problem with my configuration specifically. On my dual core system once started ChipWits consumes all available CPU on one core. Is this a known problem perhaps with adobe AIR under windows XP. I am unsure how to verify the versions of AIR componenets or which other items may be required.

I have also noticed the mission widget sometimes displays the ChipWit on top of a wall.

Does the CPU usage change depending on whether you display 2D or 3D graphics?

Even while on the intro screen the CPU Usage is High.

On the Title screen 3D CPU utilization is 60-70%
On the Title screen 2D CPU utilization is 40-50%

What type of CPU does your system have?

I am still learning about the 3D Papervision SDK and will certainly be learning about optimizing it.

Hope you can still enjoy the game!

I saw the same behavior with the prior 2D only version. Jus tnever thought anything of it. I sitll have one core left after all Laughing .

My CPU is an Intel Core Duo mobile processor. I suspect If there is a problem it will be a conflict with my Adobe AIR(1.0.4990), Adobe Flash(9.0.115.0)/Shockwave(11), Java(Sun 1.6.0.50), AntiVirus, or IE(6sp2).

Didn't know if the game was chugging because your CPU was maxed.

Papervision - the 3D platform I use - is written in ActionScript. It doesn't use the 3D capabilities of your graphic card. The next release of Flash will use graphic cards so we should see a decrease in CPU usage.

CPU utilization may be used to gauge system performance. For instance, a substantial load with just a couple of Write my Assignment for Me UK running projects may indicate insufficient CPU control support.
